Doesn't look like there are warehouses? Some larger industrial plots are visible, but not sure if these are grown, or plopped?ĩ. I was also hoping for reflections in the water, and it doesn't appear there will be.Ĩ. The waves look too large, and contrast seems strange. Doesn't appear like any buildings show procedural growth - I was hoping that there would be a lot of variety provided by proceedural buildings growing - that would provide a much more varied number of floors for a more diverse look to skylines. Was also hoping for more boats in general- ferries etc. No port-cranes or large wharfs or anything. Thought we would see more of a port-element to the base game. Seems like there are too many large skyscrapers for a city of the size shown- not enough suburbs/mid/low-rise buildings.ĥ. I was very excited to see the slow growth of skyscrapers, with a realistic growth animation from the foundations being dug, to the floor-by-floor growth like was shown in the first trailer. Not seeing the skyscrapers under construction animations that were featured heavily in the first (albeit Unreal Engine) trailer. Is this a city-builder/simulation, or a city plopper/sandbox game?ģ. (showcase buildings or whatever) This is very concerning - One of the most fun aspects of a city builder (if not the main purpose and fun) is to get the largest, tallest buildings to grow, not be plopped. Worried that the tallest buildings are going to be plopped, not grown. Z oning being squares still, instead of dynamically created plots to fill areas is disappointing. So, after seeing the in-game-footage trailer a few things are worrying me:ġ.
